Hampshire includes the New Forest National Park where there are deer and ponies who roam freely and is great for walking, cycling and horse riding, not to mention sight-seeing. The Isle of Wight remains as popular as ever with families looking for holidays, with something for everyone!

Within Hampshire you will find many things to do and see. With Beaulieu nearby where there is canoeing, kayaking and the motor museum. The New Forest coastline includes Barton-on-Sea and Lymington Quay whilst the The North and South Downs closeby offer walking, cycling, fishing and horse riding.

The Solent river is great for sailing and windsurfing and Portsmouth and Southampton are busy ports and have interesting museums to visit. Hayling Island has superb Blue Flag beaches and is great for a relaxing day out.

The Isle of Wight is 23 miles east to west and 13 miles north to south and the stretch of water between the mainland and the island is known as The Solent.

Queen Victoria's former home - Osborne House - can be visited and at East Cowes and West Cowes there is usually an offering of yacht racing and / or a regatta. There are plenty of sandy beaches and castles here to visit and explore. Activities such as golf, paragliding, surfing, horse riding, cycling and sailing can be found on the island.

We are sure you will agree, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight are fantastic destinations for great family holidays!
